Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
House Hub helps people organize property details, records, photos, documents, and maintenance history in one place. This Privacy Policy explains what information House Hub collects, how it is used, and how users can manage or delete their data.
What House Hub is for
House Hub is designed to help users keep property-related information organized in one place. This includes details about homes, rentals, commercial spaces, listings, maintenance history, and supporting documents.
Information users provide
House Hub collects information users provide directly when creating an account or using the app.
- Account information such as name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
- Property information such as properties, addresses, room names, space details, notes, products, and materials.
- Photos uploaded through the app or selected from the user’s device.
- Documents such as receipts, warranties, manuals, or project files.
- Maintenance records, timelines, service notes, and other property history details.
Device, technical, and service information
House Hub collects limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Device and technical information such as device type, operating system, and app version.
- Basic usage or diagnostic information needed to troubleshoot errors and improve reliability.
- House Hub may send notifications related to maintenance reminders, updates, or account activity. Users can manage notification preferences through their device settings.
- Authentication, database, and file-storage information processed through Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage.
Camera and photo library access
On supported devices, House Hub requests access to the camera or photo library so users can capture or upload images for their properties. That access is used only to let users add and manage their own content inside the app. Users can change this access later in their device settings.
How information is used
- To create and maintain user accounts.
- To store, organize, and display property records, photos, documents, and maintenance history.
- To provide account access and app features across iOS, Android, and web.
- Users may choose to share certain property details, photos, documents, or records with contractors or other third parties. House Hub only shares information when a user explicitly chooses to do so.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- To improve House Hub and support users more effectively.
- To communicate service updates, policy changes, or support responses.
Data storage and security
House Hub uses third-party infrastructure, including Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage), to securely store and process account and property data on our behalf. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but House Hub is built to protect account and property information responsibly.
Data deletion and retention
House Hub keeps account and property data until a user deletes it, deletes their account, or requests account deletion. When an account deletion request is completed, personal account data and private content are removed from House Hub.
Some property-related records that are not tied to personal identity — such as structural details, maintenance records, and content that has been explicitly shared or marked as public — may be retained in a disabled or anonymized state for system integrity, historical reference, or operational purposes.
For account deletion instructions, visit the Account Deletion Request page.
Children’s privacy
House Hub is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through House Hub, contact us at support@househubapp.com.
Changes and contact
House Hub can update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When that happens, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
